These webpages are generated by experimental weeWX software written in Python and using a modified version of the Belchertown weewx skin. We previously used the weatherview software package which is no longer supported.
The weather station generating the data is a Texas Weather Instruments WR-25. The station has been operating continuously since 1997 although we've only been automatically collecting data since June, 2010. Unfortunately, Texas Weather Instruments is no longer in business.
The station is located approximately eight miles east of the Indian Peaks Wilderness in Colorado at an altitude of 2517m (8258'). The webcam is usually aimed due west at the Indian Peaks along the Continental Divide within the wilderness area.
